CPC Celebrates Our Graduates

 

Sunday, May 22nd, Covenant Presbyterian will celebrate three incredible young adults graduating from local area high schools! Covenant is so proud of these wonderful students as they enter college to pursue their careers and dreams.

Covenant Teams With Family Promise

CPC is  happy to announce our involvement with Family Promise of Gainesville (formerly Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Gainesville). Family Promise of Gainesville’s mission is to, “mobilize community resources and local congregations to provide compassionate care, shelter, meals and case management to homeless children & their families.”

100th Birthday Celebration

Last May 17th, we had a very special worship service and fellowship time as we celebrated our own Garnet Brenner’s 100th Birthday!

Garnet’s family “took over” the service with her daughter, Janis Bomar, acting as liturgist, her son, Bart Brenner, giving the message, and her other son, Gary Brenner, leading the tree dedication. Along with Gary was his wife, Diane. Also in attendance was family friend, Brenda Dye.
